Welcome to our web page for Garibaldi Grade School (GGS), “Home of the Wolves”.   We are located on the hillside in Garibaldi overlooking the marina and Tillamook Bay just off of Highway 101. You can spot the “G”at the top of the hill as you drive through town.  We currently serve 190 students in grades K-5 with an average class size of 21.

We have a Title I school-wide program, which benefits all students by providing extra support in the classroom for instruction.  We are fortunate to have a part-time Literacy Coach and Elementary Counselor on staff.  Students receive up to 30 minutes of PE or Music daily provided by specialists as well as have access to Art Literacy through the Community Arts Project monthly. Our students and families also have access to a full time Family Resource Coordinator.

Our 2nd-5th grade classrooms all are technology rich. All students have access to a Chromebook which is used to enhance their learning and education. We also have a full computer lab accessible for all students as needed.

We are a PBIS School (Positive Behavioral Interventions Support). The three school rules are ‘BE SAFE, BE RESPECTFUL, and BE RESPONSIBLE’

The staff is committed to improving their teaching skills and methods of instruction. They are a dedicated and caring group who support each other through collaboration and planning for instruction.  We have a strong focus on reading and math and have a built in reading intervention block into our daily schedule.

The Parent Group is actively involved in school activities. They provide many wonderful opportunities for families to get together at the school. We are always looking for more parents to come and help volunteer with these fun activities, applications can be found in the office.

Garibaldi Grade School is a wonderful place to learn and grow. The staff and I look forward to working with you and providing a wonderful learning experience to your children.
