Dear Neah-Kah-Nie Staff,

Last year we voted to combine all individual and group employee recognition (Classified Employee Recognition Week, Licensed Employee Recognition Week, Secretaries Day, Bosses Day, Administrative Assistant Week, School Nurses Week, etc.) into Neah-Kah-Nie School District Employee Recognition Week, the first week of April.

I am very proud, humbled, and excited to recognize all district employees during Neah-Kah-Nie School District Employee Recognition Week, April 2-6.  Celebrating and recognizing Neah-Kah-Nie School District employees this week is special because the work you do is extraordinary.

I am not alone in my gratitude and admiration for your work.  The students, families, school administrators, school board, and community partners you serve also support your work.  We appreciate your professional preparation, commitment, energy, compassion, and work ethic.  We all recognize Neah-Kah-Nie School District is unique because its employees are unique.

Working together to educate and care for students is how Neah-Kah-Nie School District employees prepare students to meet the District’s mission: Neah-Kah-Nie School District prepares students to become productive and responsible citizens for an ever-changing world through diverse educational opportunities in partnership with the community.

Neah-Kah-Nie School District Employee Recognition Week, is a small gesture by the school district to publicly recognize all school district employees for providing countless opportunities for students to successfully meet the District’s mission.

I hope you enjoy the fruit, meat & cheese platters on Wednesday in the staff rooms.

Thank you for all you do!

Paul
